Richard Scott comes 3rd in Junior UK Strongest Man 2016

rs junior

The Irish Strength Association would  massively like to congradulate Richard Scott in placing 3rd in Junior UK Strongest Man 2016!!!!! This is an achievement which needed to be acknowledged by the ISA as Richard is only the 2nd competitior from Ireland to make the podium at this major competition.  Richard showed great consistancy throughout all of the events and this proved benefitical at the end of the contest.  Richard of Co. Mayo was against a strong line up of competitiors including Tom Stoltman who was 3rd in the Senior UK Stongest Man last year.  Richard has done the association proud and we wish him all the best as he prepares for the upcoming ISA event.!  ‪#‎YouHaveDoneIrelandProud‬
Congratulations to Tom Stoltman of Scotland off to represent the UK in Ultimate Strongman Junior World Championship in Canada this September, after 3 years of trying he has now been crowned Junior UK Strongest Man 2016. Ashton Reid of England put up a close battle lying joint first after 3 events for the title ,improving on one place on last year’s result finishing second!
