The ISA would like to acknowledge the achievement of Brian McShane of Co. Dungannon.  On the 25th June Brian was attempting to be the third man in Irish History to bend the famous red nail of Ironmind.  The Ironmind Red Nail sets the standard for excellence  in short steel bending.  It all started in 1995, from a grip great John Brookfield who was the first man ever to bend this nail.  Since then the Red Nail challenge has grown and a number of people from Ireland believe they can defeat this challenge.  Before the official bending Brian performed some warm ups but was then ready to tackle the beast of a nail.  Glenn Ross, the official referee got the red nail out of the packet in front of camera.  Brian felt the strength of the nail for a second and suddenly the nail was bent.  The nail was measured and the required distance between the two points was achieved.  Well done Brian.  The ISA would like to thank Ironmind on sponsoring this event.  We wish Brian all the best as he attempts to defeat more Ironmind challenges.
