The Irish Strength Association Est.2000 is the governing body of Strength competition in Ireland . We also promote the televised events for Irish, UK’s and World International Strength events.

Strongman the most popular sport at all levels in our governing body. A must strength event at any show or festival.

Highland Games Series has been run since 2004, an event that is getting more popular each year.

Arm-wrestling, the toughest of the strength events has been also promoted since 2004 leading to International championships.

Mas Wresting our future Olympic sport started in 2013 and ISA all ready promoting Irish ,UK and World level tournaments.

Power-lifting partnered with Ireland GPC 2014, our members now performing its principles to record breaking lifts!
