Channel 5’s Ultimate Strongman Masters World Championship is back!

Taking place at Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July, the legends of strongman will battle it out for the Masters World Championship title.

Held over 2 action packed days, the Masters kicks off with 4 awesome events: Truck Pull, Super Yoke, Car Deadlift & Medley Eliminator with the winners of Groups A and B going through to the final.

Four time World’s Strongest Man and reigning Masters World Champion Zydrunas Savickas returns to defend his title against former Champions Mark Felix and Vidas Blekaitis alongside the USA’s Nick Best and Russia’s Mikhail Koklyaev, who make their first appearance at the Ultimate Strongman Masters World Championship.

Join them and stars from Australia, Poland the UK and South Africa in this not to be missed event!

Donnagdee Highland Games won by strength games legend Jonathan Kelly Co.Antrim. As part of the 11th night celebrations in Kilkeel a few ISA members took part in a series of record breaking challenges.  First was the 53KG dumbbell press. The current Amateur record was 11 reps and this was challenged by Gareth Quinn of Co. Down and Josh Smith of Co. Armagh.  Both men put up
