In the District Demonstration Fields, Manse Road, Kilkeel. Event starting at 7pm will be a major competition with 3 championships into 1.  These include the Highland Strength Challenge, U23 Ireland Strongest Man 2017 and Master Ireland Strongest Man 2017.  These 3 championships are the road to great things in Ultimate Strongman so be part of it!

£400 Prize Pot- Split £200 for 1st, £100 for 2nd, £50 for 3rd, £30 for 4th and £20 for 5th.

Special Note: Scoring will be done as one big competition and trophies will be handed out accordingly.


  1. Husafell Stone Carry for Distance
  2. Weight for Height with 42lb weight- Starting height is 10ft and will increase by a foot until 3 remain.
  3. Log Lift for reps- 110kg for as many reps as possible, 75 seconds
  4. Keber toss for distance- 16ft keber
  5. Deadlift hold with straps- 250kg on the handles- Longest time will win
